DOMINIC FERRIS

Piano player to the stars, Producer & Arranger

Dominic’s collaborations with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra have sold over 3 million albums worldwide. He has performed on and provided orchestrations for six top ten albums, all recorded at Abbey Road Studios, and recently worked with Michael Ball on his #1 album Coming Home To You.

This summer, Dominic performed for 40,000 at Hyde Park for BBC's Proms in the Park. He joined the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra as Assistant Musical Director and pianist for the Elvis Presley: If I Can Dream UK arena tour and Memphis Symphony Orchestra in the USA, finishing at Graceland with Priscilla Presley for the Elvis 40th Anniversary Celebrations.

Dominic tours globally as half of the Steinway & Sons endorsed Piano Brothers, and half of musical theatre double act Ferris & Milnes.

Dominic is king of rapid-fire live requests, and will be showcasing his cross-genre expertise for this special event. Come prepared with your song requests!

SCHOOL 21

School 21 is a pioneering new 4 to 18 school in Stratford, East London, for children from all backgrounds.

The three founders of School 21 Peter Hyman, Oli de Botton and Ed Fidoe came together with a shared belief that education must be done differently if we are to prepare young people properly for the world they are going into. Their conviction was that we needed schools to rebalance head (academic success), heart (character and well-being) and hand (generating ideas, problem solving, making a difference).

So School 21 has developed a series of pedagogies and approaches that give students the chance to find their voice, develop deep knowledge and understanding, and create beautiful work that has real value beyond the classroom.

ELTHAM HILL SCHOOL

Eltham Hill School four-piece "Work In Progress" were the winners of Restore The Music UK's 2019 Battle of the Bands competition. They beat out bands from across London to achieve the coveted annual prize.

"At Eltham Hill School we value every student as an individual and are totally committed to enabling them all to experience excellence, happiness and success.
We aim to support our students to become confident, articulate and thoughtful young people. We nurture their leadership skills, resilience and independent thinking through a wide variety of learning experiences and our strong pastoral team ensure that emotional and mental wellbeing are as important as academic success."

- Erika Podmore, Eltham Hill School Principal

What is Restore the Music UK?

Starting your own business and picking the right niche in no time

Restore The Music UK is a registered charity which helps reinstate music education. They believe in music as a birthright for every child, rather than an option for the privileged few.

The charity provides grants for instruments and tuition in primary and secondary schools across the UK.  Restore the Music UK has so far funded 39 schools in 18 London boroughs, reaching over 27,000 children.

The need for arts education financial assistance has become increasingly desperate. Without this, schoolchildren in state education face the very real scenario of an education devoid in musical tuition and all the developmental, social, and academic impacts which that brings.
